Food and Diet
The diet of the Hawksbill Sea Turtle is mainly made up of sponges but also includes seagrasses, sea squirts.
Unfortunately, when the Hawksbill Turtles are young, they live in weedlines near convergence zones, which are covered in small pieces of floating debris such as styrofoam, tar balls and plastic bits which are eventually swallowed by the post-hatchligs.
